Reposting Mal's Post since we cant edit votes for clarity:

There is some issues with people asking to modify the races to have the same stat bars as Humans.

Choices are above. Any questions let us know

1: Leave them as they are

2: Make all race's stats & HAMs equal, Adding ALL racial ABILITIES to ALL races, keeping current SKILL mods intact
Pull the useful bonuses to races and add them to all (same def vs, camo, crafting and equilibrium/roar)

3: Make all race's stats & HAMs equal, Removing ALL Racial ABILITIES from ALL races and adding NEW NON COMBAT skill mods instead to those affected
ex. Zabs loose their Defense vs and equilibrium, Wookees loose roar ect. but gain things like mask scent, camo etc

Some races that can only ever wear 4 pieces of race specific armor, and are unable to ever wear any BE statted clothing are already at a huge disadvantage, so not sure that giving human HAM pools to every race is going to solve anything for a number of the other races, Wookiee and Ithorian come to mind. I'd say that if anything equalize the HAM pool and secondary pool ranges, and leave the racial stuff the same, otherwise there's literally never going to be a reason to play certain races due to their inherent armor/BE clothing/socket issues. I'm all for the HAM pools and secondaries being equalized to a humans, but I'd consider leaving any racial HAM caps that are higher than a humans intact. I understand that, as a wookiee, I'm going to be severely gimped in any combat. Let's face it, a wookiee can only wear 4 armor pieces, which is the "mini suit" needed to cover any holes where dmg can get past armor. We cannot make use of any BE clothing, ever, as we cannot wear it with armor, so when armored that leaves a belt, which we can make clothing or armor, so essentially a combat wookiee will only ever get up to 4 sockets that won't decay or become destroyed, and beyond that you'd have to pick CA or AA, can't ever use both. And yeah, technically there's the bandolier, but let's face it, who would ever want to use a bando over a backpack, anybody can use a bandolier yet nobody does, lol, for a reason. Ryykar, my wookiee, is a ranger/surveyor, so I need all the inventory space I can handle, heh, but anyway, take this post as you will, all good, just offering some perspective from someone who has a wookiee as a main character.

Working on making this a non issue, all races will be able to wear all armors and clothing when we finish the balance, it may not be right at first and the clothing may not show, it may be worn but be invisible but the sockets/mods/armor will be there.

so not sure that giving human HAM pools to every race is going to solve anything for a number of the other races, Wookiee and Ithorian come to mind.

If im not mistaken they currently have less ham pools than humans, anyway, if anything this would boost them, and if they dont we will make an exception for wookies and ithorians until we can fix the armor/be issue where they would keep what ever hams they have now to compensate

For the time being that is the plan dharken, at least for ithos and wookies, or just wookies depending on mals number crunching.

Maybe till we get the armor thing worked out ill make it so wookiees 4 piece stats match that of a human wearing a mini suit.

I kind of wish that there was an option to equalize the HAM pool caps across all races using human pools as a baseline, but leaving any pools higher than a humans (for some races) unchanged. In addition to this, leave all racial abilities/bonuses as they are, and to make up for humans losing their primary reason to play a human give them 200 extra HAM pool points to distribute however they'd like, or whatever a fair bonus would be to compensate humans essentially losing their primary racial bonus. Just my 2 cents. I really enjoy the diversity of various classes, races, and racial bonuses/incentive. I'd just hate to see everyone make humans since they'd get every racial bonus without any of the armor/clothing restrictions.

*EDIT* Sorry, just now saw your post Xionic, LONG weekend, super tired, heh. I know you guys aren't going to take things too far, that's not a concern, it's just that I'd hate to see the variety of player races get knocked down to 2-3 races if the sole reason for selecting a race is 100% visual, because let's face it, lol, most races are not attractive.
